Jodi has spent over 20 years working with Sarasota County, and has been focusing on Waste Management and Recycling since 1976.

Jodi spearheaded the "Sustainability Resolution" and has directed the Sustainable Sarasota program since its inception in 2002. Jodi is a Co-Chair and founding member of the Florida Gulfcoast Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Jodi is a "Jill of all trades" but her current projects include: green building and design, waste management, sustainable seafood and the community partnership program.

Nina leads the energy conservation and alternative energy initiatives of Sustainable Sarasota. Nina is the Rebuild Sarasota County representative to the U.S. Department of Energy and the leader of the Sarasota County ENERGY STAR partnership.

Nina focuses on training internal staff and working with business partners to develop energy efficiency, conservation and demonstration programs. Prior to joining Sustainable Sarasota, Nina managed the Environmental Landscaping and Integrated Pest Management programs for the county.
