Sarasota County Energy Management Plan

Sarasota County recently appointed an Energy Management Coordinator to develop goals, guidelines and initiatives for energy conservation. The Energy Management Plan will coordinate energy efficiency retrofits, achieve federal ENERGY STAR ratings for county buildings and track the cost savings of conservation. A Sarasota County Energy Policy is being developed which will guide the future of energy conservation in Sarasota County Government and the larger community.
