Green Fleet and Alternative Fuels The green fleet program works to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions of the county vehicle fleet. Green Food Service Sustainable Sarasota is researching options for "greening" the food service program of county facilities. Green Office Supplies Sustainable Sarasota is working with county staff to create purchasing policies and office policies that save money, energy and resources and reduce negative health effect. The county has a contract with Office Depot which offers a growing line of recycled-content and "green" office supplies.
